This Nababeep accommodation is situated in the heart of Namaqualand and has a long history. Nababeep Hills Guest House was originally built by O'kiep Copper Company in 1968 as a guesthouse for the guests of the mines. In 2004 the mines closed and the guesthouse was available for private sale. The current owners bought the property in 2006, renovating and turning it into the gem it is today.
Springbok is only 20km south of this accommodation in Nababeep and as the locals know Namaqualand is most famous for its wild flowers that bloom around spring. The flowers of Namaqualand lure visitors from all over including international tourists. For most of the year the area is a beautiful semi arid desert which then changes into a colourful display of flowers.
The name of the guest house Nababeep Hills, is inspired by the stunning hills that surround Nababeep.
At this accommodation Nababeep offers, there are seven bedrooms, which are all air-conditioned and spacious. The rooms have been uniquely decorated and all with en suite bathrooms and have king sized beds with clean, crisp white linen. If you would rather prefer twin beds, then Nababeep Hills Guest House can accommodate your needs.
There is also a self-catering unit for those who wish to stay separately with three bedrooms that can sleep up to six people. The unit has a fully equipped kitchen, a dining room, bathroom with shower, basin and toilet and an outside braai area.
A delicious breakfast with homemade bread is served in the dining room and can be arranged on arrival along with dinner. For dinner guests can enjoy traditional and tasty "boerekos" that can be served on request.
